Car & Garage
Our Daddy has just finished his 10 sessions of driving lessons. After a few more practice, soon he’ll get his license, next step is for us to get our first ever car. There are lots of brands and models that we are taking into consideration and one of the closest choices is the Toyota Camry. Reviews are positive, but if we will be given wider options, we’re always open to it. Daddy also has to get himself aware of the auto repair, like how to check engine light and all the other safety musts.
Along with having a new car is of course having the need to have a safe garage. Good thing the flat that we’re going to move into is just within the building and so we will still have good access to the personal garage right in front of it.

Car Insurance
As what I have written about a month or 2 ago, hubby already passed the driving theory test and he’ll be starting the initial 10 hours driving lessons in September and take the practical exam right after and hopefully he’ll pass it too the first time.
We have already tried some tools over the net to have a rough estimate of the car insurance. Because he’s a first time driver, we know that it’ll be expensive, but it will surely get cheaper in time. We are also planning of buying a second hand car as it’s a more practical move for us.
Hopefully we can be able to get a great deal in both the car and the insurance soon. Oh, how I love to have our own car… It’ll be more convenient for our family.

Driver’s License on the Way
It was just yesterday when hubby surprised me and confirmed that he has already booked his theory driving test on June. Hooray!
I’ve been pushing him many times already about getting a driver’s license and he was just too lazy to take the tests. I think it is because he just doesn’t feel like driving and he’s also considering the costs of the tests and the driving lessons.
But even before he gets his license, my mind’s already focused on buying a second hand car!
I was thinking of buying Honda Civic because my uncle has it and it still looks and works very well after seven years or so. We actually saw one and they said, it just needs a new head gasket and it’s as good as new. A friend of ours works in Los Angeles auto repair shop so we’re just gonna ask for his advice when we get to meet next year.
Uh-oh! Before I think any further, I believe a full support for my husband’s tests are more important for now. Then he can be my driving instructor after and it’ll be my time to drive! Yeeha!!!
Oh boy! I can see those huge expenses coming. ![]()
