Park and Pizza

Summer here seems to be very quick. It came in late and it went away early. Mr. sun rarely showed itself during the summer months and so we found it hard to enjoy the outside more. But good thing we were able to do our favorite summer activity even before it waved goodbye.

Alyssa at the Park

I guess every family’s favorite bonding place during hot weather is none other than, the park. It’s where both parents and kids can relax and at the same time, have some fun. Hubby and I just laid down on the grass, feeling the warmth of the sun and the coldness of the humid air, while our cheeky munchkin plays around and try everything the playground has to offer. At the park, children are the happiest and us too.

Then after a good summer heat, it’s time to cool off. We headed to the nearest Pizza Hut and there we found out that they have this special offer the whole summer time where Kids Eat Free! What a nice treat for our little princess! It would have been even better if we are already a family of four that time. We should have gotten 2 free kiddie meals! devil Why? Because for every adult main course or adult lunchtime buffet purchased, an accompanying child can choose from either a FREE 2 course kids meal (includes a drink) or a FREE kids lunchtime buffet (includes pizza, pasta and salad). Alyssa so loves pizza so we opted for the latter. YUM!

And what more good news?!? Well, they are extending this offer up to the 9th of January 2011! How’s that? Oh, and not only that! On the bottom of any Pizza Hut Restaurant receipt you will find an offer code. Enter this code at http://www.pizzahut.co.uk/familyadventures to get great deals on a wide range of family activities and adventures including holidays, theme parks, zoos and more.

Ghost Ship at Morey’s Piers

Ghost Ship

If UK has Alton Towers, USA has Morey’s Piers – both have water and amusement parks. We’ve already been to Alton’s water park, but we have yet to try Morey’s Piers’s seaside resort. With the amusement parks, we haven’t tried both. ;)

Ghost Ship at Morey’s Piers is a brand new attraction in the Wildwoods. I just watched the video clip and it’s indeed creepy and so lively. It seems like guests are in actual horror movies as there are live actors portraying different stunts. I believe it’s indeed a place worth a visit.
