My husband Mark is going to attend a costume party in 2 weeks and he needed a Hats for men just like what handy manny is wearing on that famous cartoon show. It was Alyssa’s idea that daddy dressed up as handy manny. It was also around that time that I dig up some baby photos of Alyssa and decided to upload them on my facebook account. She looks exactly like Sophia and both of my girls looked like their father. Sad but true hehe…so that made me go through all of our past photos. Alyssa’s newborn pics, my husband’s and even our old photos together. It was like strolling down memory lane. And to give you a glimpse of what I was talking about, here are some of our baby photos. tee hee!

Lullaby and Good Night…

 

Lullaby and good night, in the skies stars are bright. May the moon’s silvery beams, bring you sweet dreams….

What else would be a soothing way to put our little ones to sleep than playing a lullaby to calm them when they c ry or fuss. So far Sophia likes it when I put her mobile on and soothing music comes out of it. When Alyssa had to missed school for a day because of a toothache, these songs calmed my big girl and helped her fall asleep. I have the Sleep Baby Sleep CD by Nicolette Larson, Baby Einstein and Return to Pooh Corner. Youtube’s Fisher Price selection of lullabies are also nice and would sometimes play them as well. Here are Sophia’s sleeping pictures…aww I just love staring at her.
Meanwhile hubby and a friend are trying to figure out how they can use his apogee jam on his acoustic Yamaha. They’re going to make music with it and hoping Sophia will like it too.

Party prep

As early as the first week of January, I’m starting to prepare for Sophia’s 2nd month birthday. This month though we won’t be having guests anymore. It’s just going to be the 4 of us. I haven’t decided on what to call her theme for this month but I saw a plum pinafore dress that she got from a friend and I’m working on that theme. It’s gonna be s splash of plum, deep violet, light pink and blue green. It’s gonna be a plum flower theme. I’m not even half done yet, though I finished the cupcake topper, wrapper and banner, I still have a few more touches to add. I’ll be doing another photo shoot at home on the weekend when hubby is home so he can help me out. Yesterday he got me a nice printer, I can’t wait to try it, it’s like having an office small business right at home. Can’t wait for this to be over and see the final outcome. It gets more exciting each day.
