PS I Love You – I just love how true love works…

I have heard this title long time ago, but was able to watch it only the other day. If only I knew how good the movie was, I should have watched it since its launch. It was a love story where the husband died early, but planned everything so his wife can move on with her life.

Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life – a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. So when Gerry’s life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it’s a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief, but in rediscovering herself. The first message arrives on Holly’s 30th birthday in the form of a cake, and to her utter shock, a tape recording from Gerry, who proceeds to tell her to get out and “celebrate herself”. In the weeks and months that follow, more letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way; P.S. I Love You. Holly’s mother and best friends begin to worry that Gerry’s letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. With Gerry’s words as her guide, Holly embarks on a journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life. – IMDB

Personally, if I were to chose which way to die, I would definitely chose to die of sickness – cancer perhaps? I know we should always be ready for we don’t know how and when we’re gonna leave, but being sick definitely prepares us. I need to prepare my family, most especially my daughter. I’m sure her world will fall and if I can somehow prepare her, I will.

Hubby and I always joke about us, getting old. He always says, “Don’t you worry, mum. We will not reach that age.” ;) Life gets shorter these days compared to the life of our grannies, but if we will to live that long, I would definitely love to – as long as we’re together. Then we talk about getting ourselves our own Burial Insurance, seniors funeral insurance and health resource for seniors – just so our child/ren won’t have to think about it anymore.

Well, I’m talking about dying… But then I guess it’s normal to worry about it, most especially if we know how to love…

Happy Valentines Day, Everyone!!!

SeeSaw – Online Telly

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SeeSaw. All opinions are 100% mine.

Screen_shot_2010-06-15_at_8Have you been rushing from work almost everyday to catch up with your most awaited TV series? Well, my hubby is – most specially now that he’s been so into football and he can’t just miss any game. If you can relate , then this is definitely a great news because SeeSaw has arrived. It is an online TV service that offers both free and paid for contents from various providers like BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, to name a few. This only means that you can now be able to watch at the time most convenient to you.

And there’s more – they offer hundreds of programs for free; you can rent premium shows not only from the UK, but also from the US; you can catch up on 4oD and Demand Five programmes; you can play everything in full screen, safely and legally; and the collest feature of all, you can share what you’re watching with your friends in facebook and twitter. How’s that?

As for me, if there’s one place on that site that I would want to watch and catch up, that would be the Comedy Section. Oh, I just love comedies.

Shrek Forever After – Still a Suspense in UK

I can’t understand why a lot of movies are shown in UK… soooo LATE! Buy you know what? They claim that it’s actually early – in fact it has an exclusive preview screening on Tuesday, 1 June only in London and the regular showing is on 2 July all over UK. I mean, are we that far to be this late? Oh well, I guess they’re just trying to manage the profit properly by not showing it in all countries all at once, or maybe they’re finding it hard to transport their bullion back to their country. Just kidding.

I, personally would want to experience the exclusive screening at the Vue Cinema on the Family Week Film Day by the nationalfamilyweek.co.uk, but since we’re going to the country we may just wait until 2 July.
