Should I Still Apply for a Job?

Every year, I plan to apply for jobs. I don’t even care which job it is – all I want is to get hired. I was wondering what career path is waiting for me – sales career, admin, hospitality, whatsoever – but every year also, lots of other opportunities are coming my way. This year, I tried again, but I got interested in cake making so I’ll see if it’ll work for me as a home-based business, plus of course, the raining opportunities in my blogging career.

Until now, I’m not sure if I still need to apply for work, but if the cake business won’t turn out successfully, then I guess I really should. I just believe in God’s perfect timing and that He knows what’s right for me.

How to start this cake business?

This is the question that’s been bothering me the whole week. Honestly, I don’t know how to start. I tried by making some samples to giveaway, thinking that it will be enough to gain customers, but it saddened me to realize that it isn’t as easy as that. I have already spent so much – our electric bill had a massive increase and I am sure this was because of my baking, not to mention the total expenses from the ingredients and the tools that I already bought to make the first trials. So I really have to try my best to make this work.

I can’t just bake and bake until I get my first customer. You know? No matter how happy I am to take in all those calories, I guess at some point my body will already resist it. But if that’s the only way, then I will definitely need some weight loss drinks to go with my every bite.

I just pray to God that may He guide me through this. I have no idea where this is heading, but if it’s one of His plans for me, then it will be done.

Affiliate programs

While I was browsing on my friend’s blog I saw her post about highest paying affiliate program. Apparently another way to make your site earn is by joining an affliate program just by linking your site to an affliate link, when someone clicks on it, their visit is being tracked and if they make a purchase you get a percentage from it. So it’s wise to choose an affiliate program that offers products that your readers might be interested in. I’m currently reading up on reviews and  ways  to get started and im taking my time to really look into it.
