Weekend Blog Follower Caravan – About Me
We have been exchanging thoughts for the past months already, but we haven’t had a chance to really know more about each other. This week, we are like having an acquaintance party – a nice way to know more about our co-WBFC co-TBE and co-PMC members.
Well, I’m AC, mom to a 5 year old smart and beautiful girl named Alyssa and a wifey to an ever loving man named Mark. We have been living here in London for almost 4 years now. Hubby was fortunate enough to have been hired by what we call one of the “Big 4″ in the audit industry with the chance of bringing his family with him (free moving allowance, air fare and visa processing fees) – so this alone makes us feel very blessed as we are together everyday.
I got married and became a mom at the age of 19 while still in 2nd year college, stopped from school and became a full time mom for a year and finally pulled it off and graduated at the age of 22. From then on, I have been a stay-at-home-mom and haven’t haad a chance to experience being an employee. Having said that, I am proud to say that I never stop from exploring every possibility to earn. I have an online shop called Cheeky Munchkins Online Boutique, I am a virtual assistant, of course an earning blogger and now trying my hands on cakery. I am so lucky to become a stay-at-home-mom because by being one, I am able to do anything my heart desires.
I am maintaining 4 blogs (all active) and they are:
- Happy Home Working – My Online Diary – this is my main blog and here I share personal happenings in my life as a wife, relative, friend and as a work-at-home diva.
- Come Dine In – My Recipes and Food Stories – where I keep a record of the interesting foods that I prepare for my family. Most are from different recipe sites and cookbooks while others are from my own kitchen doodling. LOL!
- Cheeky Munchkins – My Share on Parenting – where I share my daughter’s activities and myself as a mom.
- Join My Stroll – Anything – travels, photography, shopping, etc.
It’s always nice to become a part of a community where friendship blooms. Happy blogging my fellow mommy bloggers!

GT: I Should Love It, But NO!!!
This month at GT, it’s all about MUSIC. And for this week, we get to share what music we HATE.
Oh no! I know you’ll all protest when I say that I hate the song “Love Moves in Mysterious Ways”
Well, not actually hate, but I just don’t like it. Don’t throw balls at me yet, please… I can explain.
Blame it on my hormones! I was pregnant when I was preparing for our wedding and because I do all the CD giveaways myself, I have no choice but to hear this song over and over again because I have to check each just to make sure everything’s burned clearly. (talk about pirates
) It was still being popularized by Nina that time so the radio stations are going gaga in playing it. Every time I hear it, until now – to think it’s been more than 5 years, I can still feel that “morning sickness”.

When SAHMone Speaks #1
It’s another meme I’m joining every Monday and hopefully I can keep up.
QUESTION: Looking back the days when you were still single, how would you differentiate your life now? How do you keep up with your busy schedule every day?
*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*
ANSWER:
Honestly, nothing has changed. I have never felt being single – like going out with friends, buying anything I want, whatsoever – and I never felt like I missed something. I have enjoyed my life before and after marriage and I am just so happy that I don’t feel the need to adjust big time. Ever since, I already love just staying home and I am lucky enough to be able to do that until now.
But then, though staying at home, I bet you all, WAHMs, will agree when I say that our schedules get busy too. When I started blogging and got serious at it, I tried to put in my calendar all the memes I want to join to every week and even those, I’m finding hard to stick with. Plus all the things I need and want to do – all the loads of house chores (oh! they can wait, I say), the job as a VA and the cake business I’m trying to put up. As much as I would want to get organized, I think it’s really a pain for someone who’s never been one, not to mention the lazy bones that keep on working everyday.
How do I keep up? I just let the days pass me by.
And that’s when I thank God more for giving me a very kind and loving hubby who doesn’t mind my lazyness, the very messy house and the insistent wife in me who he can’t control whenever I want something new to try and discover.
