Muscle Magic???
Sorry Cuz… I just want to laugh and I suddenly thought of you.
What’s worse is I’m gonna write it for the world to read.
My dear cuz, whose name I chose not to mention,
was once a lizard turned into a hippo! waaah!!! *joke* But really, when you’ve seen him a few years back, he’s changed so much. I remembered when his mum, my aunt, confided with almost everyone in town asking for the best vitamins to give her child. He’s so thin – almost anorexic. Then now, seems like his mom tried them all.
After years, his mum’s question became “How to diet?” Well, actually he’s already 22 so we suggest that he just turn his fats into muscles. That way, he’ll look more macho for his age. The problem is, he hates working out. Currently, he’s taking what he calls the best muscle building supplement ever invented.
No sweat.

Can I Keep the Weight off During the Holidays?
It’s the holiday season, and you know what that means. There’s tons of yummy food everywhere! My goal this year is to enjoy the season, but without putting on extra weight. I know – it sounds hard. But that’s OK because I have a plan. And a plan to reward myself with a Michele watch if I’m successful.
I found some great online resources with all kinds of tips and tricks for approaching eating during the holidays, and I’m actually really excited about putting all of that information to use this year. One of the most practical tips I found is to swap unhealthy food ingredients for their healthier versions when you are cooking. For example, you can use low-fat cheese, sour cream and other items in place of their regular versions. You can make similar swaps with low sodium products such as chicken broth and canned vegetables, too. Your recipes turn out just as tasty, but without all the calories and fat you don’t need.
It’s also good to keep the way you prepare foods in mind. Deep-frying a turkey may be a popular method for preparing the traditional bird these days – I know my family has been anxious to try it. But it adds a ton of calories, so we’ll stick to roasting it and save a lot of calories and fat.
I think the best tip I read is to make sure you don’t go to holiday gatherings with an empty stomach. You should always eat a healthy snack or small meal before you leave the house. I’m stocking up on things like fresh vegetables, apples and peanut butter, whole wheat crackers and other things so I don’t reach for cookies and other high fat items instead.
It’s going to be a great, healthy holiday season.
