It’s Occupied
Yes, it’s occupied and we can’t do anything about it.
We badly wanted to move to the newly renovated flat just on the ground floor, but the new tenant has already moved in yesterday. Funny thing is, the whole family has already planned on how to decorate the master’s bedroom since it’s really huge, so we’re planning to buy a nice futon for the small sitting area with some different colored futon covers that will match the curtains on every change; the living room to have a modern look and the finality of disposing off our current beach-colored furniture; the dining room with new dining set to match the new furniture in the living room; and most especially the dream bedroom of our little girl that she’s been so excited about since the first day of the construction.
I believe I have already told the story about the backyard and yeah, this is the continuation of the rant.

When SAHMone Speaks #1
It’s another meme I’m joining every Monday and hopefully I can keep up.
QUESTION: Looking back the days when you were still single, how would you differentiate your life now? How do you keep up with your busy schedule every day?
*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*
ANSWER:
Honestly, nothing has changed. I have never felt being single – like going out with friends, buying anything I want, whatsoever – and I never felt like I missed something. I have enjoyed my life before and after marriage and I am just so happy that I don’t feel the need to adjust big time. Ever since, I already love just staying home and I am lucky enough to be able to do that until now.
But then, though staying at home, I bet you all, WAHMs, will agree when I say that our schedules get busy too. When I started blogging and got serious at it, I tried to put in my calendar all the memes I want to join to every week and even those, I’m finding hard to stick with. Plus all the things I need and want to do – all the loads of house chores (oh! they can wait, I say), the job as a VA and the cake business I’m trying to put up. As much as I would want to get organized, I think it’s really a pain for someone who’s never been one, not to mention the lazy bones that keep on working everyday.
How do I keep up? I just let the days pass me by.
And that’s when I thank God more for giving me a very kind and loving hubby who doesn’t mind my lazyness, the very messy house and the insistent wife in me who he can’t control whenever I want something new to try and discover.

We Want the Backyard!!!

It’s so sad to know that the flat we’ve been eyeing to move in to has already been taken by someone else. We really wanted the flat being renovated just below our current flat and aside from it being within our budget, it already has 3 bedrooms where Alyssa can have her own room and the other room can be a proper guest room since we have visitors every now and then and most especially, it has a really really huge backyard. Alyssa has already planned to put up her own playground there with wood swing sets and slide like this. She saw me viewing the CSN store and this caught her attention. She was also disappointed when I told her that we’re not moving there anymore. I feel so sorry for her that I took away her excitement this early.
I wasn’t able to take a picture of the whole backyard as I’m just upstairs, but here’s a part of it. We have seen the flat’s improvement and from the old-style victorian house, it’s now a modern victorian with everything new in it. We’re still crossing our fingers though. Our agent told us that should there be problems with the current applicant, she’ll let us know. If not, then we have no choice but to look for another. We just find this area to be the best as it’s a walk away from Alyssa’s school and from the city centre.
