What will I be up to from 12noon today (7 April 2011)?

Ok, posting stat on Facebook is not of my interest anymore. I post once in awhile, but because I can’t find the time to comment on other’s stats, I think it’s unethical to expect them to comment on mine. Anyways, Facebook is all about “comments”. That if you don’t do so, you lose the “friendship”. Oh well, enough of this rant. So where am I posting my supposed to be “stat”? Of course, no where but on my personal blog. haha!!! That’s why it’s called personal, right?

While my planner hasn’t arrived yet, I will use my blog for now. It’s 11:52am as of this writing, and in 8 minutes, 12:00 will strike. I try to manage my time the best way I can so bare with me, minutes are just so important.

I have to do them all without interruptions so by the time the little girl arrives, I can attent to her… alone. No laptops in between feeding and homework time. Now practising on being a good and attentive mum.

I guess I will have stretch my working time a bit more when orders start to come in. Blogging will have to start on 12mn instead of 12nn and with that, I would certainly need to find ways on how to remove dark circles under eyes so when facing the customers for their cake pick-up, I will still have the pleasing personality. Isn’t it a necessity for us, mums? Hmmm…

And again… for the cake business…

While I still have all the time (though wishing to get busy real soon), I try to organise some bits and pieces like creating the logo, business card, flyers, stickers, Address Plaque etc. I wanted to purchase the domain name for my cake business, but a bit hesitant as I wasn’t sure if I still need to register the name, whatsoever before I can use it for trade. Finally, I got the chance to talk to someone from my council and she’s been really helpful by giving me so much information on how I will go about things like taking care of the kitchen just so I prepare really clean cakes, writing down notes and keeping the receipts, etc. She told me that as soon as I posted back the registration (which I already have) I can go start trading. I don’t need to register somewhere else and I am free to make my website this early.

So right after our chat, I headed up and purchased the domain, started setting it up as well as designing it and in less than 48 hours, www.cheekymunchcakes.co.uk is up! Now all I am waiting for is the arrival of the first order and hopefully the order after that and the next and more. *fingers crossed*

I wasn’t able to join any meme last week and to top that off… I haven’t visited the other’s entries from the memes I joined the other week. What kind of blogger am I? Arrg!!!

What else? I have yet to finish the theme I started 2 weeks ago I guess, for my Marz Rubz. Marz, really really sorry for the delay.

Honestly, I don’t know where to start. I want to focus on my cake business – browse cakes made by really great cakers worldwide; watch and read tutorials on the different techniques like putting fountains-effect on the cakes, making figures and all; compare prices from the different suppliers; and exchange conversation with other cakers in different forums. But I shouldn’t forget that I am also a blogger, a VA, a wife and a mother. How on earth can other women on the same boat juggle on to these tasks with flying colors? Time management it is I know… But to a really slow person like me, a big goodluck!
