When SAHMone Speaks – Hubby Helper

QUESTION:

What mother roles do you share with your partner?

ANSWER:

Uhhm… EVERYTHING??? Yes! He does everything. He folds the laundry, washes the dishes, cleans the house (he’s in charge of the bathroom), helps Alyssa tidy up her toys, cooks, and ALL. He’s also a hands-on dad, though he doesn’t bathe Alyssa and he never washes her poop since she turned a year old  , but he’s always there for her. Sometimes we can be bossy and ask our daddy to get us ice cream and cook our meals on weekends. When I don’t wash the dishes at night and it’s a weekend the next day and he wakes up ahead of me, I’ll be awaken by the sounds of the plates, spoons and pans – he’s washing them. I have a SUPER Hubby! Wanna ask what I do at home then? Well, blog… blog… blog… FB… FB… FB… LAZY ME!

It’s really a blessing to have a partner who helps carry the loads. I always say, if my hubby is not him, I bet I won’t have this happy life.

When SAHMone Speaks #3

QUESTION:

How do you get yourself organized with all the left and right chores in the house? Plus a crying toddler or a demanding husband waiting his dinner to be served?

*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~*

ANSWER:

Uhhmm… I DON’T! Honestly, I do not have any bit of organization in my house. Most of the time, house chores are taking a backseat and I am already at home the whole day, mind you. Arrg!!! This is a shameful truth. But yeah, I’m one, fat, lazy mommah! :( I’ve tried many times to finish the house chores first, but this addiction to the internet is the culprit. Good thing though, I neither have a toddler nor a demanding husband.

Believe it or not, I’m the luckiest wife ever! ;) Imagine how I caught all the lazyness that’s been showered on earth. From work – hubby arrives in a very messy house, the wife is just in the pc all day – no bath, the laundry basket is full (the other one needed to be washed, the other needed to be folded), the sink is full of dishes to be washed, dinner isn’t ready yet – and that’s almost every day with not a single complain from the hubby. He still helps set the table, tidy up and all. Horrible, right? But believe me, I’m trying to change. I really need a daily routine and I know I am the only one who can help myself. This is a serious problem which I need to overcome. My tita always tells me, “Don’t give your husband a reason to leave you.” And that, I always keep in mind.

It’s Occupied

Yes, it’s occupied and we can’t do anything about it. :( We badly wanted to move to the newly renovated flat just on the ground floor, but the new tenant has already moved in yesterday. Funny thing is, the whole family has already planned on how to decorate the master’s bedroom since it’s really huge, so we’re planning to buy a nice futon for the small sitting area with some different colored futon covers that will match the curtains on every change; the living room to have a modern look and the finality of disposing off our current beach-colored furniture; the dining room with new dining set to match the new furniture in the living room; and most especially the dream bedroom of our little girl that she’s been so excited about since the first day of the construction.

I believe I have already told the story about the backyard and yeah, this is the continuation of the rant.
