Toys are not just for play!
Toys are not merely something to play with, toys are friends too. So when giving toys to children, it’s important that we give them something that can be an effective tool to develop our child’s motor skills. For example, an alphabet book can help any toddler master his abc’s, identify colors and some shapes and learn how to count. Simple and useful yet inexpensive. Another inexpensive toy which can truly challenge our kid’s imagination and creativity are puzzles. Though we have to be a little careful in picking the right size for our kids. We have to make sure that they are safe enough and our kids won’t choke on it.
My baby girl Sophia at 2 months can appreciate mobile toys hanging by her crib. Soon she’ll probably appreciate rattles and other baby toys. So before buying that talking doll or motorized train, think about it and ask yourself, how will it help your child.
