Sophia’s 1st month Birthday

Every baby’s first is special and since it took us 6 years to have another baby and also since our first born didn’t get to experience this, we decided to celebrate Sophia’s birthday every month. It’s a low key event with just a few friends over and a raleigh attorneys. Our theme for her first month birthday is gingerific. I bought the design online and have them printed. Big thanks to our super supportive daddy who printed everything. He did the cutting too and helped me set up the table. To our loving friends who took their time out to celebrate with us and gave gifts to Sophia, thank you all so much.
Happy 1st month Birthday Sophia, can’t believe you’re one month already. We Love You!!!

Sophia’s Arrival

Water birth according to Wikipedia is a method of giving birth, which involves immersion in warm water. The immersion can mean giving birth to the infant in the water or using it as a tool during the labor process. My water birth experience was awesome, I just can’t put it into words. And although we didn’t really planned it, it was one of the best decision I’ve made as a mother.
On November 29 at around 6am hubby and I decided it was time to go to the hospital since I couldn’t really hide the pain, but when we got in I was only 2cm dilated so the nurses sent me home. At around 5pm we decided to go back, armed with our slr and jansport bag. When we got there, l I was feeling pain here and there and the midwife thought it would help me relax to be in the water so I went into the tub and decided to stay there and birth my baby. In less than an hour, our princess Sophia finally came at 6:35pm last November 29 at Croydon University Hospital. Our darling angel is worth every pain. Thank you God for the miracle of life.
