Spyware for Kid’s PC
Do you have techie kids? Do they have their own Facebook accounts and update it by themselves? Or are they old enough to navigate the world wide web?
Well, as for me, I have a daughter who’s confident in working her way through the different technologies available within her reach. She’s actually my co-owner in both my iPhone and laptop. So far, she only knows how to play and watch online – good thing she isn’t familiar with Facebook yet.
She’s only 5 though so I’m not worried yet about her online activities, but I know soon enough she’ll know that there’s so much more beyond Kidzui and Youtube. As a parent, I know I have the responsibility to restrict her activities online and I don’t want her to feel that being harsh is the only way like not letting her access them at all. There are actually a keylogger like SentryPC that we can install in the PC that our kids use so without us emphasizing the sites they shouldn’t visit, the PC itself will do the job. It will log, notify and block internet contents that may not be suitable for kids. By using this, we can be more at ease with our kid’s on the web.

Insurance Once Again…
Just before August ends, I forced hubby to fix the spreadsheet of our family budget so we can have a fresh September. It’s been awhile since we opened it and our last update was Dec 2009, I think.
Nothing’s changed much, really just an increase in our grocery budget,
oh yes! We’ve been stuffing our mouths with just anything we fancy and we have no plans of cutting it back. haha!!!
Then, as we scroll down, again I realized that we don’t have life insurance until now, plus there’ll be a need for a car insurance soon after we purchase our first second hand car.
I know how important insurance is, so again I’m here convincing hubby to find the best deals. I always say, “We don’t know until when we’ll be around. What if it’s tomorrow? What will happen to Alyssa?” I have mentioned those lines a few times already and hopefully they strike hubby soon. I am currently looking at www.wholesaleinsurance.net and will show him later the best quotes I can find.

Online Selling
I started online selling in 2008, stopped in 2009, got back early this year and now stopped again. I love selling and I love dealing with my lovely customers. Because I sell kiddie stuffs, I interact with mommies and for me that’s my comfort zone because I believe we share the same passion and that’s getting what’s best for our kids. I would love to continue doing it, if only there’s someone really close to me who’s willing to partner and do the business. It’s difficult for me because there’s no one who can take good care of the dispatching of orders in the Philippines. Good thing I have nice bros-in-laws who were willing to ship all orders to my clients, but I know it can’t always work that way – they also have busy schedules and it’s too much for them to be taking care of my business for free.
If I’ll be given the chance to continue the business, I would choose buying my products in wholesale instead of the pre-ordering process. And instead of just focusing to kiddie stuffs, perhaps I can expand to women’s apparels and accessories. I’ll search around for possible suppliers of wholesale jewelry, RTW, shoes, etc. Though I know the competition’s stiff, I believe that if we only continue to offer quality products and maintain a good relationship with our customers, then we can keep up.
