CC: Our Different Talents

Do we have any?

Well, when it comes to music, none of us is talented about it. We don’t know how to play any kind of musical instruments. Hubby sings though, and I love it every time he sings most especially if he’s drinking some alcohol. haha!!! He gets crazy when he’s drunk. He looks at me while he sings songs he knows I love and he even changes the lyrics to my name. yeehee!!! Most of the time, he translates English songs to Tagalog and reads the lyrics backwards. I just love hubby when he’s drunk. He’s so cute and he never fails to make me laugh. He don’t dance though, except sweet dance where we just sway left and right while hugging tightly. He is also not my DIY man. Though he’s the one who assembles everything, he’s not the kind who likes fixing stuffs. He’s the opposite of his father when it comes to DIYs. But he’s the best in paper works! He files our bills neatly, he takes good care of our travel documents, he writes really good letters and he was my helper in my paper works during college. He’s the office-guy type. Oh, and he has this talent of sleeping while sitting without swaying his head. I envy that. Whenever he sleeps in the car or plane, he’ll just rest his head against the seat and sleep, while I can’t and I really have to rest my head on something that will really support me.

12 July ’10 – After dinner, hubby asked me to listen to the sound quality of the new earphones that come with his iPhone4. We danced while we listen to James Ingram’s music. We particularly like The Day I Fall In Love, I Don’t Have the Heart and Never Gonna Let You Go – it plays every night. This is the kind of dance we love most!

I, on the other hand, don’t see myself as talented. I dance though, but not really good. I was one of our schools dancers back in elementary and high-school, but I know that I am not as good as the others. I remembered, I was always chosen to join our school pageants and dancing is the only talent I can show. I love singing, but it doesn’t like me. I am a bit knowledgable in blog designing (I understand some basic codings), a little about photoshop, and other softwares that interests me, but I am never good at crafts. My hands are not friends with needles, scissors, papers, etc. I can cook and bake, but I cannot make a good cake design.
